يسلط الحوار ضوءاً كثيفاً على أخطاء القوى المدنية وتجربة الحكومة الانتقالية، كما يقدم حلا قراءة نقدية حادة لبنية التحالفات السياسية الحالية مثل "تقدم" التي يراها تجمعات للأفراد تفتقر للمؤسسية والبرامج الواضحة، محذراً في الوقت ذاته من أن أي محاولة لدمج المليشيات القبلية في الجيش ستمثل رصاصة الرحمة في قلب المهنية العسكرية وتجعل الولاء للقبيلة والقائد فوق الولاء للوطن.
وفي الجزء الأكثر حساسية، يستشرف حلا مستقبل البلاد محذراً من خطاب الكراهية الذي يمهد الطريق لانفصال دارفور، وهو السيناريو الذي يعتبره النهاية الأبدية للدولة السودانية. ويختتم الحوار برسائل مباشرة وحادة لكل من البرهان وحميدتي بضرورة التخلي عن الأنانية السياسية ووقف الحرب فوراً، موجهاً نداءً أخيراً للشعب السوداني بضرورة الوعي وعدم الانجرار خلف أكاذيب أطراف النزاع التي تنفذ أجندات خارجية لا تمت لمصالح السودانيين بصلة.
