Pertama Kali, Komisi PBB Sebut Israel Lakukan Genosida di Gaza
Salah satu komisi PBB menyatakan Israel melakukan genosida di Gaza. Ketua Komisi Penyelidikan Internasional Independen untuk Wilayah Palestina yang Diduduki, Navi Pillay, mengumumkan kesimpulan dari temuan mereka pada hari Selasa (16/9). Komisi ini menyerahkan analisa hukum setebal 72 jalaman mengutip skala pembunuhan, blokade bantuan, pengusiran paksa, hingga penghancuran klinik kesuburan sebagai temuan pendukung kesimpulan tindak genosida dilakukan Israel. Analisa ini juga memperkuat temuan yang sudah disuarakan berbagai kelompok hak asasi manusia terkait genosida di Gaza. Saat ini sudah lebih dari 64 ribu jiwa melayang dalam serangan Israel ke Gaza.Komisi ini menetapkan tiga nama yang dianggap paling bertanggung jawab atas genosida di Gaza. Tiga tokoh yang paling bertanggung jawab itu adalah Perdana Menteri Israel Benyamin Netanyahu, Presiden Israel Isaac Herzog, dan mantan Menteri Pertahanan Israel Yoav Gallant.
