Mayat tersebut ditemukan berada di pinggir danau dengan kondisi berpakaian lengkap.
Jenazah mengenakan hoodie warna cream, jilbab coklat, rok hitam, dan kaos kaki hitam.
Kapolsek Tanjung Raya, AKP Muzakar, membenarkan penemuan jenazah tersebut pada pagi hari.
Jenazah langsung dievakuasi bersama masyarakat ke Puskesmas setempat untuk penanganan lebih lanjut.
Penemuan terjadi saat seorang warga hendak pergi ke tepi danau dan melihat sosok mayat terapung.
Warga segera melaporkan temuan itu kepada pihak kepolisian.
Polisi langsung melakukan peninjauan lokasi setelah menerima laporan.
Di lokasi, jenazah terlihat memakai pakaian lengkap dari jilbab, jaket, hingga kaus kaki.
Melihat kondisi itu, pihak kepolisian bersama masyarakat mengevakuasi jenazah.
Jenazah kemudian dibawa ke Puskesmas setempat untuk penanganan lebih lanjut.
Saat ini jenazah masih berada di Puskesmas setempat untuk mendalami penyebab kematian dan identitas korban melalui hasil visum dan investigasi lapangan.
Pihak kepolisian terus memantau lokasi penemuan dan melakukan pengumpulan keterangan warga sekitar.
Adapun proses identifikasi ini diharapkan dapat membantu mengungkap identitas dan penyebab kematian korban.
