Los Angeles Protests: Anti-Immigration Protesters Clash With Police, Trump Deploys National GuardProtests against the immigration crackdown continued in Los Angeles for the second straight night. The protesters once again clashed with police, setting off fireworks and hurling Molotov cocktails. Meanwhile, the police fired rubber bullets and tear gas to disperse the protesting crowds. US President Donald Trump has deployed 2,000 National Guard in Los Angeles to quell the "lawlessness", said the White House. The violent protests were over the dozens of arrests made by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents on June 6, following multiple raids in Los Angeles, a city with a high Latino population.
