CBF INAUGURA CENTRO DE DESENVOLVIMENTO DO FUTEBOL EM SANTA CATARINA
A CBF inaugurou nesta sexta-feira (15) o Centro de Desenvolvimento do Futebol de Santa Catarina, em Balneário Camboriú, primeiro do Sul do País e quarto entregue na gestão do presidente Samir Xaud. O equipamento, construído no antigo campo do bairro Municípios, conta com gramado sintético padrão FIFA, vestiários, arquibancada para 480 pessoas e estrutura completa para treinamentos e competições. A obra foi viabilizada com recursos do Fundo de Legado da Copa de 2014 e parceria entre CBF, FCF e Prefeitura.Durante a cerimônia, que reuniu autoridades, dirigentes e mais de 100 crianças, Xaud destacou a importância do projeto. “É uma felicidade estar aqui entregando essa ferramenta social. A espera foi grande, mas conseguimos destravar e entregar este Centro, que vai servir de inspiração e oportunidade para muitas crianças e jovens”, afirmou. O evento terminou com o tradicional Festival de Futebol, celebrando o início de uma nova etapa para o esporte catarinense.
