Gazastreifen das nächste US-Küstenparadies?Auf Donald Trumps Social-Media-Plattform Truth Social sorgt ein skurriles KI-generiertes Video für Wirbel. Der Clip beginnt mit bedrückenden Szenen aus dem vom Krieg zerstörten Gazastreifen: Kämpfer und Kinder stehen zwischen Ruinen. Doch plötzlich wandelt sich das Bild – futuristische Hochhäuser, sonnige Strände und eine gigantische goldene Trump-Statue tauchen auf. In weiteren Szenen tanzen bärtige Männer in Bikinis, eine Figur, die Elon Musk ähnelt, erscheint mehrfach, und Trump selbst feiert mit einer Bauchtänzerin in einem Nachtclub. Eine besonders absurde Szene zeigt ihn entspannt mit Israels Premierminister Netanyahu an einem Pool.
Das Video scheint eine mediale Inszenierung von Trumps umstrittenem Vorschlag zu sein, den Gazastreifen in eine luxuriöse „Nahost-Riviera“ zu verwandeln – kontrolliert von den USA. Vor einigen Wochen hatte er gefordert, die rund zwei Millionen Bewohner umzusiedeln und das Gebiet in ein Tourismuszentrum umzubauen. Dieser Plan sorgte international für scharfe Kritik.
