(LaPresse) Papa Leone XIV ha rinnovato il suo appello a vietare l'uso militare dell'intelligenza artificiale in guerra. Ha inoltre affermato che la collaborazione del Vaticano con la società di intelligenza artificiale Anthropic prosegue al fine di garantire un uso più etico della tecnologia. «Ritengo sia molto importante continuare il dialogo e cercare davvero un'intelligenza artificiale non armata», ha dichiarato il Papa. Il Papa ha parlato anche di Gaza e del trattamento riservato agli attivisti della flotta umanitaria, nota come Global Sumud Flotilla, da parte del ministro della Sicurezza israeliano Ben-Gvir e di diversi agenti di sicurezza. «A questo proposito, occorre lanciare un nuovo appello affinché siano rispettati i diritti umani di tutti. Purtroppo, la popolazione di Gaza non sta ancora ricevendo aiuti umanitari. Ciò sta causando proteste e difficoltà anche per l’azione di coloro che hanno partecipato alla Flottiglia», ha detto.
