BANGKALAN, KOMPAS.TV- Usai penggeledahan oleh KPK di rumah Mahfud anggota DPRD Jawa Timur, Fraksi PDIP yang juga caleg DPRD Jatim 2024-2029.Mahfud memilih untuk mundur dari kontestasi pikada Kabupaten Bangkalan.
Diketahui saat penggeledahan, penyidik KPK menyita 2 ponsel dan uang sekitar 300 juta rupiah, yang merupakan uang pribadi Mahfud. Mahfud menegaskan, keputusan politiknya tersebut demi nama baik Kabupaten Bangkalan.
