Kehadirannya justru disambut lemparan sandal, botol minum hingga sorakan dari pendemo.
Mengenakan kemeja lengan panjang putih, kacamata, dan peci hitam, Sudewo berlindung di dalam mobil rantis polisi sebelum keluar.
Hal itu memicu kericuhan yang berujung pembubaran massa dengan water cannon dan gas air mata oleh petugas.
Polisi sempat mengimbau massa untuk tertib, namun situasi kian memanas.
Saat menyapa massa dari atas mobil, Sudewo mendapat lemparan air minum kemasan hingga sandal.
Sementara itu, ajudan dan anggota Brimob berusaha melindunginya dengan tameng dari hantaman benda-benda tersebut.
Selain itu, massa terus melempar hingga Sudewo kembali masuk ke dalam mobil rantis.
Bahkan pendemo berupaya menerobos masuk dan membakar satu unit mobil provos milik Polres Grobogan.
Polisi menembakkan water cannon dan gas air mata untuk membubarkan kerumunan.
Sebagai informasi, aksi unjuk rasa yang menuntut Sudewo mundur dari jabatannya berujung ricuh.
Aksi demo ini dipicu kebijakan kenaikan pajak sebesar 250 persen yang dinilai memberatkan masyarakat.
