Kemunculannya itu untuk pertama kalinya sejak dimulainya perang Iran dengan Israel selama 12 hari.
Ali Khamenei menunjukkan dirinya menyapa jemaah di Masjid Imam Khomeini di Tehran pada Sabtu (5/7) selama upacara sehari sebelum festival Syiah Asyura.
Hal itu terungkap dari rekaman yang ditayangkan saluran televisi milik pemerintah Iran.
Penampilan perdana di publik ini menandai kembalinya sosok Ali Khamenei yang terakhir menyapa masyarakat Iran sebelum 13 Juni lalu.
Diketahui selama perang Israel dan Iran, Khamenei bersembunyi di tempat rahasia selama 12 hari berkecamuk.
Kendati bersembunyi, Khamenei terus menyapa publik secara tidak langsung melalui siaran TV milik pemerintah lewat rekaman video.
Rekaman tersebut diduga diambil dalam sebuah bunker.
Di antara tiga video yang dibagikan, salah satunya ada yang menyinggung sosok Presiden Amerika Serikat, Donald Trump.
Pihaknya menilai Trump kerap membesar-besarkan serangan AS ke Iran.
