Serangan itu dilakukan menggunakan pesawat tanpa awak yang dikendalikan dari jarak jauh.
Dikutip dari Tribunnews, Senin (23/6), akibat serangan ini 15 pesawat dan helikopter militer Iran hancur lebur.
Adapun target serangan mencakup landasan pacu, bunker bawah tanah, pesawat pengisian bahan bakar, serta jet tempur F-14, F-5, dan helikopter AH-1 milik Iran.
Sementara itu, Israel menyatakan serangan ini untuk melumpuhkan kemampuan angkatan udara Iran dalam menjalankan operasi dari bandara.
Bahkan lokasi serangan dikabarkan tersebar di titik vital pertahanan Iran.
Meski demikian, serangan ini menjadi eskalasi terbaru setelah Israel dan Amerika Serikat menyerang fasilitas nuklir Iran.
Lantas, serangan ini merupakan respons atas ketegangan yang terus meningkat antara kedua negara.
Tindakan ini dikhawatirkan memperlebar skala konfrontasi di kawasan Timur Tengah.
