Bologna è la mia città, dove sono nata e cresciuta, e vederla così, vedere il centro storico maltrattato a me e alla mia famiglia colpisce profondamente. Bologna non merita questo. Non accettiamo che la memoria di mio zio venga macchiata da questi fatti. Il dolore che stiamo vivendo è enorme, ma non può e non deve trasformarsi in violenza». Così Yossra Fakir, nipote dell'uomo deceduto a Bologna durante l'intervento delle forze dell'ordine, in collegamento con una conferenza stampa in Senato organizzata dalla senatrice di Avs Ilaria Cucchi. «Mio zio si chiamava Abderrahim - afferma la donna -, non è un numero, non è un caso, è una persona con una vita e una famiglia, che oggi chiede risposte». «Quello che è successo non può essere ridotto a un errore, a uno sbaglio o a una fatalità. Quando una persona chiede aiuto, qualcuno deve intervenire, e quando questo non accade è giusto chiedersi il perché», continua Yossra, «vogliamo capire che cosa è successo e vogliamo che vengano accertate le responsabilità». La nipote e la famiglia insistono che ci sia rispetto «per mio zio, per la sua memoria e per la sua dignità», «la sua voce oggi non c'è più, ma la nostra sì e continueremo a farci sentire finché non avremo risposte.
