BEBEN BEI DEUTSCHER BAHN: "Enormer Sanierungsbedarf" – Bundesregierung entlässt Konzernchef Lutz!Die Bundesregierung beendet vorzeitig den Vertrag mit Bahnchef Richard Lutz, der eigentlich bis 2027 laufen sollte. Verkehrsminister Patrick Schnieder spricht von einer „dramatischen Lage“ und fordert eine Neuaufstellung. Lutz, seit 2017 im Amt, bleibt bis zur Nachfolgeregelung. Kritik gab es vor allem wegen zunehmender Unpünktlichkeit. Die Bahn steckt mitten in einer Sanierung, die bis 2030 dauern soll – darunter 41 Hochleistungsstrecken wie Berlin–Hamburg. Probleme sind marode Schienen, Personalmangel und fehlende Digitalisierung. Das neue Sicherungssystem wird wohl erst in den 2030ern einsatzbereit sein.
