La Casa Blanca ha publicado la nueva Estrategia de Seguridad Nacional del presidente de EE. UU., Donald Trump. El documento insta a reafirmar el dominio del país norteamericano en el hemisferio occidental y a adoptar una postura más dura con Europa. Asimismo, esboza un importante reajuste de las fuerzas estadounidenses para contrarrestar la migración, el tráfico de drogas y el auge de potencias rivales. El texto también afirma que Trump restaurará la preeminencia estadounidense en Occidente en consonancia con los intereses de seguridad nacional, y señala un cambio radical en las alianzas, advirtiendo que Europa se enfrenta a la desaparición de su civilización y debe cambiar de rumbo para seguir siendo un socio fiable.
