BEAST FROM THE EAST! 641 horsepower from an all-new hybridized 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8.

The GR GT is not a concept — it’s a full production, road-legal sports car from GAZOO Racing (GR), developed alongside the GR GT3 race car and the Lexus LFA Concept. Built on Toyota’s first all-aluminum body-frame, with carbon-fiber-reinforced panels, the GR GT targets a curb weight of 3,858 lbs or less — with a 45:55 front-to-rear weight balance for optimal handling.

Under the hood: a short-stroke, hot-V 4.0 L twin-turbo V8 mated to a transaxle-integrated electric motor and 8-speed automatic transmission. System output is targeted at 641 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque. Tires are bespoke Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 — size 265/35 R20 front, 325/30 R20 rear — with 20-inch forged BBS wheels and Brembo brakes for performance-level grip and stopping power.

Inside, the cabin is designed for drivers first: seating position, controls, and visibility were optimized for both everyday driving and track use.
