Indiscrezioni di fine agosto hanno rivelato che il direttore del Tg1 Gian Marco Chiocci potrebbe lasciare la guida del Tg1 per diventare portavoce della premier Giorgia Meloni a Palazzo Chigi. La notizia ha acceso polemiche sul tema dell’indipendenza della Rai dalle ingerenze politiche. Poche settimane prima, l’8 agosto, è infatti entrato in vigore il Media Freedom Act, il regolamento europeo che obbliga anche l’Italia a riformare il servizio pubblico.
