Kasus Campak di Sumenep Terus Bertambah, 73 Anak Dirawat | KOMPAS SIANG
SUMENEP, KOMPAS.TV - Kegiatan vaksinasi campak terus dilakukan di sejumlah wilayah di Kabupaten Sumenep, Jawa Timur, pasca ditetapkannya kejadian luar biasa (KLB) campak di Kabupaten Sumenep.Vaksinasi campak salah satunya dilakukan di TK Negeri Pembina, Kecamatan Kota, Sumenep, Jawa Timur yang sudah berlangsung lima hari.
Sekitar 60 anak tercatat mengikuti vaksinasi serentak ini. Sementara itu, sejumlah anak belum bisa divaksin karena belum mendapat izin dari orang tua.
Petugas kesehatan terus melakukan pendekatan persuasif kepada orang tua siswa agar semua anak bisa segera diimunisasi.
Hingga hari keempat kemarin, total ada 19 ribu lebih anak yang divaksinasi di Kabupaten Sumenep.
Kasus campak di Sumenep, Jawa Timur terus bertambah. Saat ini, 73 anak masih dirawat, terdiri atas 48 anak di rumah sakit dan 25 anak di sejumlah puskesmas.
Padahal, dua hari sebelumnya jumlah yang dirawat tercatat 61 anak. Kenaikan juga terlihat dari jumlah kasus baru dari 2.268 menjadi 2.370 kasus.
Sementara itu, data Dinas Kesehatan P2KB Sumenep mencatat hingga saat ini ada 20 anak meninggal akibat campak.
Pakar kesehatan mengingatkan, sosialisasi imunisasi perlu diperkuat karena masih ada orang tua yang menolak anaknya divaksin.
