A több tízezer érdeklődő és a nemzetközi hírnév ellenére sem örül mindenki, hogy 33 év után az ezerháromszáz lakosú Balatonfőkajár mellett működő Balaton Park Circuit-en rendeztek ismét MotoGP versenyt Magyarországon. A környékbeliek egy része szerint hiába épített zajvédő falat a pálya üzemeltetője a korábbi panaszok után, továbbra is hatalmas a zaj a környéken, amikor autók vagy motorok köröznek a pályán. A nagy versenyek idején csak külön engedéllyel lehet autóval behajtani a településre, így viszont a helyi kereskedők forgalma elmaradt a várttól. Van, aki szerint idővel fellendül a helyi turizmus, ezért érdemes megszokni a motorbőgést, a balatonfőkajári polgármesternek viszont hiába küldtünk emailt és hívtuk telefonon, akkor sem válaszolt kérdéseinkre, amikor véletlenül összefutottunk vele.A videóban a zaj- és rezgésvédelmi szakértő 65-66 dB-es határértéket mond, a hivatalos engedély szerint azonban a kiemelt események idejére 65-70 dB a pálya megengedett határértéke.
