PDIP Beri Pesan ke Prabowo soal Kesiapan RI Akui Israel: Jangan Buru-buru sebelum Palestina Merdeka

Hal ini disampaikan Djarot merespons pernyataan Prabowo bahwa Indonesia siap mengakui Israel jika Tel Aviv bersedia mengakui kemerdekaan Palestina.
Ditemui di Lenteng Agung, Jakarta Selatan, Minggu (1/6/2025, Djarot berpandangan bahwa pemerintah tetap harus konsisten mendukung Palestina sampai penjajahan dihentikan.
Sebab, kemerdekaan Palestina adalah suatu hal yang tidak boleh ditawar.
"Sekarang Palestina masih terjajah, maka Palestina harus merdeka terlebih dahulu. Maka untuk kita misalnya membuka hubungan diplomatik dengan Israel, jangan terlalu buru-buru, ya," ucap Djarot, dikutip dari Kompas.com, Minggu (1/6/2025).
Djarot menyinggung pembukaan UUD 1945 yang secara tegas menyatakan bahwa kemerdekaan adalah hak segala bangsa dan penjajahan harus dihapuskan.
Oleh karena itu, Djarot menyebut pemerintah tidak boleh membuka hubungan diplomatik dengan Israel selama Palestina belum merdeka.
Komentar PDIP sebenarnya tidak bertentangan dengan Prabowo karena presiden juga mengatakan peluang tersebut baru terbuka setelah Israel mau mengakui Palestina.
Hanya saja, partai berlambang banteng itu mengingatkan Prabowo agar tidak terburu-buru.
Pernyataan Prabowo disampaikan dalam join statement bersama Presiden Prancis Emmanuel Macron di istana, Rabu (28/5/2025).
Presiden menegaskan kembali bahwa solusi dua negara adalah satu-satunya cara untuk menuju perdamaian.
"Indonesia sudah menyampaikan, begitu negara Palestina diakui oleh Israel, Indonesia siap untuk mengakui Israel dan kita siap untuk membuka hubungan diplomatik dengan Israel," ucap Prabowo.
