“Menurut saya, perubahan data apapun di situs resmi KPU, apalagi menyangkut calon presiden atau wakil presiden, bukan perkara sepele,” kata Jeirry saat dihubungi, Senin (22/9/2025).
Subhan menuntut perdata Gibran dan KPU. Ia menilai keduanya melakukan perbuatan melawan hukum karena ada beberapa syarat pendaftaran cawapres yang dahulu tidak terpenuhi.
Menurut Jeirry, KPU tidak boleh tinggal diam atas klaim tersebut dan segera angkat bicara untuk memberi pernyataan yang jelas.
“Karena itu, berdasarkan gugatan Subhan Palal, KPU tak boleh diam dan cuek. KPU seharusnya segera memberi penjelasan resmi, bukan diam seribu bahasa," tutur Jeirry.
"Tak perlu menunggu proses pengadilan usai, sebab ini menyangkut kredibilitas kelembagaan KPU. Sebab transparansi adalah kunci kepercayaan publik,” pungkasnya..
