Fast and Factual LIVE | Pakistan: Blast Targeting Jaffar Express Injures Dozens With 270 Board |N18G
At least a dozen passengers were injured after an explosion targeted the Quetta-bound Jaffar Express in Mastung, Balochistan. Railway officials said six bogies derailed, one overturned, and 270 people were on board at the time. It was the second blast in the area within 10 hours, following an earlier explosion near Quetta. Police said an explosive device planted on the track was detonated as the train passed. Repair work on the track will begin after security clearance, with services suspended until Wednesday. Super Typhoon Ragasa, the strongest tropical cyclone of 2025, has unleashed devastation across East Asia. In Taiwan, a decades-old barrier lake burst after torrential rains, killing at least 14 people and leaving 124 missing in Hualien county. Entire towns were submerged, thousands evacuated, and rescue teams scrambled to reach stranded residents. By Wednesday morning, Ragasa had roared into China’s tech hub Shenzhen, forcing residents indoors, halting public transport, and sending massive waves crashing into the coast. With deadly floods in Taiwan and gale-force winds battering southern China, Ragasa is carving a destructive path through the region. Also On The Show:
