Sebab pada tahun 2023 saja negara sudah merugi Rp 193,7 triliun akibat kasus tersebut.
Bahkan kerugian negara untuk tahun 2023 baru hitungan sementara.
Harli Siregar menyebut tempus delicti atau rentang waktu terjadinya tindak pidana korupsi (tipikor) untuk tahun 2018-2023 belum dihitung.
Hitungan kerugian negara tersebut meliputi beberapa komponen seperti rugi impor minyak, rugi impor BBM lewat broker, dan rugi akibat pemberian subsidi.
Harli mengungkapkan, jika dihitung secara kasar dengan perkiraan bahwa kerugian negara setiap tahun sebesar Rp193,7 triliun, maka total kerugian selama 2018-2023 mencapai Rp968,5 triliun.
Pihaknya saat ini juga tengah berfokus untuk menghitung kerugian negara dari tahun 2018-2023 terkait kasus mega korupsi ini.
Penyidik Kejagung turut menggandeng ahli untuk melakukan perhitungan kerugian negara.
Berdasarkan keterangan Kejagung, PT Pertamina Patra Niaga diduga membeli Pertalite untuk kemudian dioplos menjadi Pertamax.
