Lara de Paula une arqueologia e poesia para escavar memórias, identidades e afetos profundos. A partir da Guiana Francesa, ela cria a “arqueopoesia”: uma forma sensível de narrar o mundo. Sua fala convida a enxergar os vestígios que nos habitam. Uma palestra TEDx que transforma palavras em espelhos da alma. Lara de Paula transforma a arqueologia em poesia e a palavra em ferramenta de cura. Ela é arqueóloga, mestra em Antropologia e doutoranda pela UFMG, com foco em Arqueologia. Desde 2013, ela atua na área, e desde 2018 também mergulha na poesia como expressão política e ancestral. Foi ela quem propôs, em 2019, o conceito de arqueopoesia: uma forma poética e feminista afrocentrada de pensar, fazer e falar sobre arqueologia. Seu trabalho já foi reconhecido com prêmios e menções honrosas, como o Prêmio Excelência da Sociedade de Arqueologia Brasileira e o Prêmio Maria Firmina de Literatura. Ela é cofundadora de iniciativas como o LANÇA, o coletivo Luzias de Mulheres na Arqueologia e a Rede NegrArqueo. Já atuou em projetos arqueológicos no Brasil e na Guiana Francesa. E acima de tudo, acredita que a palavra pode ser uma ferramenta política de cura ancestral.
