Ma l'Euro digitale sarà "economicamente sostenibile" per le banche. Lo dice Piero Cipollone, membro del comitato esecutivo della Banca Centrale Europea. Una questione controversa, quella della battaglia tra contanti e moneta digitale, dove i contro per quest'ultima sembrano più immediati: tra i rischi di un blackout o di un controllo al di sopra dei diritti legali e individuali. La stessa BCE ha dovuto raccomandare qualche tempo fa di tenere una riserva di contanti in caso di emergenze. Il contante, però, è anche ormai il nemico pubblico per eccellenza per chi crede che eliminarlo risolverebbe il problema dell'evasione fiscale. Al contempo, le proposte di tassare gli extraprofitti delle banche sono avversate. Come coniugare le due cose? La proposta di Antonio Maria Rinaldi, economista ed ex europarlamentare, è semplice.
