Ebola outbreak: UN says women die disproportionately from Ebola
The Democratic Republic of Congo has recorded the most Ebola outbreaks since the deadly virus was discovered in the 1970s. The UN says women are the most affected every time. There is no vaccine for the strain responsible for the current outbreak. And with hospitals short of protective gear, there are fears that women will once again suffer the most.Al Jazeera’s Imogen Kimber reports.
