Congresistas piden cerrar agencias y Otaola denuncia: ¿Ayuda humanitaria o negocio del régimen?
El influencer y activista cubanoamericano Alex Otaola analiza declaraciones realizadas en el puerto de Miami, donde congresistas y figuras del exilio solicitaron a la administración estadounidense retirar licencias a agencias que operan envíos hacia Cuba bajo el amparo de ayuda humanitaria. El presidente de la Fundación Cubana Anticomunista sostiene que nuevas cifras publicadas revelan exportaciones millonarias en artículos que no corresponden con necesidades básicas.Durante el programa, Otaola menciona reportes que detallan millones de dólares en vehículos de lujo, motocicletas, piezas automotrices y otros bienes enviados a la isla. El activista cuestiona si estas operaciones realmente benefician al ciudadano común o si terminan fortaleciendo estructuras vinculadas al poder económico del régimen.
El presidente de la Fundación Cubana Anticomunista recuerda que desde hace años ha denunciado la utilización de mecanismos legales para esquivar restricciones, señalando que no existe un sector privado independiente en Cuba, sino estructuras fragmentadas que responden a intereses estatales.
El mensaje central de Alex Otaola es que las autoridades estadounidenses deben revisar a fondo estas operaciones y aplicar la ley con rigor. Según el activista, la supervisión federal y el retiro de licencias serían pasos clave para evitar que se utilicen canales humanitarios con fines que, a su juicio, contradicen su propósito original.
