Menurut Presiden Ukraina, Volodymyr Zelensky, serangan skala besar Rusia itu menewaskan seorang anak di Zaporizhzhia dan lebih dari 20 orang terluka.
Volodymyr Zelensky menyatakan, Rusia saat ini menjadikan infrastruktur energi Ukraina sebagai sasaran serangan.
Atas kejadian tersebut, tim teknisi dan pihak terkait diterjunkan untuk memperbaiki infrastruktur yang rusak.
Pihaknya melakukan berbagai cara untuk memulihkan aktivitas masyarakat seperti semula.
Pernyataan itu disampaikan Zelensky melalui akun media sosial X-nya pada Jumat (10/10).
Menurut Zelensky, serangan itu direncanakan di bawah arahan Presiden Rusia, Vladimir Putin.
"Di banyak lokasi infrastruktur penting, upaya pemulihan terus berlanjut menyusul serangan Rusia terhadap sektor energi," ujar Zelensky dalam sebuah postingan di X, yang sebelumnya dikenal sebagai Twitter, Jumat dini hari.
"Itu adalah serangan yang sinis dan terencana, dengan lebih dari 450 pesawat tanpa awak dan lebih dari tiga puluh rudal yang menargetkan segala hal yang menunjang kehidupan normal, segala hal yang ingin dirampas Rusia dari kita."
Lebih lanjut, Zelensky menekankan, tak butuh pencintraan Amerika Serikat.
Menurutnya, saat ini Ukraina membutuhkan aksi yang lebih tegas dari para sekutu mereka seperti AS dan NATO.
