PART ONE of this 3-part series explores the birth of Renaissance art in Florence and the transfer of artistic knowledge through master-mentor relationships. PART THREE - Late Renaissance

The final part of this series traces the transition from the High Renaissance into Mannerism through Pontormo and Bronzino, two artists linked not only by style but by mentorship.
