PART THREE - Late Renaissance
RELEASE DATE: Tuesday, April 21 @ 2pm EST
The final part of this series traces the transition from the High Renaissance into Mannerism through Pontormo and Bronzino, two artists linked not only by style but by mentorship. Pontormo pushed Renaissance ideals into a more emotional and experimental direction, and Bronzino carried those innovations forward into a polished style of his own. Their story shows how the training of one master could shape the artistic language of the next era. The series ends with a brief overview of artistic development throughout the Renaissance era.
