"Quello che sta accadendo con le proteste e le manifestazioni per la Striscia di Gaza è incredibile, e non ha nulla a che vedere con l'aiuto alla popolazione palestinese o con il diritto di sciopero sancito dalla nostra Costituzione. Aggredire la polizia, bloccando stazioni, porti e strade e mettendo in fuga i turisti, sono atti criminali e inaccettabili: e' deprecabile e non aiuta sicuramente l'impegno a favore della pace, che non si difende con atti di violenza o bloccando servizi pubblici utili ai nostri cittadini". Lo ha detto il ministro degli Esteri, Antonio Tajani, parlando ai giornalisti a New York.
