DPR Sepakat Hentikan Tunjangan Rumah Rp 50 Juta, Puan Maharani Bakal Lakukan Reformasi Kelembagaan

Keputusan tersebut berdasarkan hasil kesepakatan pimpinan DPR dan seluruh ketua fraksi partai politik di kompleks parlemen, Senayan, Jakarta pada Kamis (4/9).
Puan mengatakan bahwa DPR senantiasa terbuka dan melakukan evaluasi.
Ia juga memastikan DPR akan berupaya melakukan reformasi kelembagaan agar bisa sesuai harapan rakyat.
Puan bahkan menyatakan akan memimpin sendiri reformasi di tubuh DPR RI.
Selain menghapus tunjangan perumahan DPR, rapat tersebut turut membahas tuntutan masyarakat terhadap parlemen.
Adapun dalam rapat tersebut turut dihadiri oleh para Wakil Ketua DPR RI yakni Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Saan Mustofa, dan Cucun Ahmad Syamsurijal.
Sebelumnya, Dasco juga telah menerima audiensi dengan 16 perwakilan organisasi mahasiswa untuk berdialog mengenai kondisi bangsa saat ini.
Dasco dalam kesempatan itu menyatakan aspirasi terkait tunjangan hingga keterbukaan DPR akan jadi pertimbangan ke depan.
Sebagaimana diketahui bersama, tunjangan perumahan sebesar Rp 50 juta per bulan turut jadi pemantik aksi demonstrasi yang terjadi pada 25-31 Agustus lalu.
Hal ini diperparah dengan pernyataan dari sejumlah anggota DPR yang menilai angka tersebut wajar diterima para legislator.
Gelombang protes dari masyarakat membuat Presiden Prabowo Subianto mengumpulkan delapan ketua umum partai politik di Istana Kepresidenan, Jakarta pada Minggu (31/8).
Prabowo mengatakan bahwa para pimpinan DPR akan melakukan pencabutan beberapa kebijakan DPR RI termasuk soal tunjangan dan moratorium kunjungan kerja ke luar negeri.
Penghapusan tunjangan anggota DPR ini termasuk dalam 17+8 tuntutan rakyat yang memiliki tenggat waktu hingga 5 September 2025.
