De la Nubia a La Plata | Documental

El documental "De la Nubia a La Plata", dirigido por el cineasta argentino Ricardo Preve, reconstruye la misión arqueológica realizada en el norte de Sudán por un equipo encabezado por el historiador y egiptólogo argentino Abraham Rosenvasser.
Ante el llamado de la UNESCO para que la comunidad científica internacional rescatara monumentos que quedarían sumergidos por el gran embalse construido para la Presa de Asuán, entre 1961 y 1963, Rosenvasser y su equipo excavaron el sitio del Templo de Aksha, erigido durante el reinado del faraón Ramsés II.
La misión permitió recuperar unas 1.200 piezas. Muchas de ellas permanecen en Sudán, mientras que 300 forman parte de la colección del Museo de La Plata, en Argentina, donde se exhiben en la sala "Fragmentos de historia a orillas del Nilo". #NubiaPlata #zht
