Klarifikasi Menteri Karding Usai Imbau Warga Kerja di Luar Negeri Atasi Pengangguran: Tak Mengusir
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Menteri perlindungan Pekerja Migran Indonesia (P2MI), Abdul Kadir Karding memberikan klarifikasi usai mengimbau agar masyarakat mencari kerja di luar negeri guna mengatasi pengangguran."Tidak ada istilah mengusir, saya katakan bahwa ada alternatif pilihan yang cukup menjanjikan yaitu bekeja di luar negeri," ujar Karding, Jakarta, pada Sabtu (28/6/2025).
Ia mengatakan bahwa saat ini ketersediaan lapangan kerja di luar negeri cukup banyak hingga mencapai 1,6 juta lowongan.
"Sesuatu yang dapat membantu mengurangi pengangguran, kemiskinan dan juga mberdampak pada pertumbuhan ekonomi, saat ini ada 1,6 juta job order dan job order ini adalah permintaan pekerjaan," tambahnya Karding.
Sebelumnya, Menteri P2MI Karding mengatakan guna mengatasi angka pengangguran dirinya mendorong masyarakat untuk bekerja di luar negeri secara resmi.
Hal itu disampaikan Karding dalam pidatonya di Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP), Semarang, 26 Juni 2025.
