Mengutip The New Arab pada (14/7), hal ini diutarakan oleh pejabat Mesir selama diskusi beberapa waktu lalu.
Lebih tepatnya, pejabat Mesir menolak rencana Israel untuk tetap berada di Gaza selatan selama potensi gencatan senjata sementara dengan Hamas.
Selain itu, mereka juga menentang rencana militer Israel untuk mengusir ratusan ribu warga Palestina ke selatan jalur yang berdekatan dengan perbatasan Mesir.
Mengklaim bahwa pihaknya melihat itu sebagai ancaman nyata terhadap keamanan nasional Mesir.

Hal ini diutarakan meruju pada pernyataan dari Menteri Pertahanan Israel, Israel Katz.
Di mana, pihaknya menyatakan untuk mengurung 600.000 warga Palestina di dalam kamp konsentrasi yang akan dibangun di atas reruntuhan Rafah.
Terkini, Mesir telah menanggapi dengan memindahkan bala bantuan militer ke perbatasan Rafah.
