Am 19. und 20. Juni 2026 fand in Niederstetten das erste Huey-Treffen Deutschlands statt – ein historisches Ereignis für alle Hubschrauberfans, Spotter und ehemaligen Bundeswehrangehörigen.
Nachdem die legendäre Bell UH-1D „Huey“ ihren Dienst bei der Bundeswehr beendet hat, sorgen heute private Betreiber dafür, dass der unverwechselbare Klang des berühmten „Teppichklopfers“ weiterhin über Deutschland zu hören ist. Insgesamt 7 Maschinen kamen zu diesem besonderen Treffen zusammen und sorgten mit einem spektakulären gemeinsamen Schwarmflug für das absolute Highlight des Wochenendes.
Doch nicht nur die Flugvorführungen begeisterten die Besucher: Zahlreiche ehemalige Piloten, Bordmechaniker und Crew-Mitglieder nutzten die Gelegenheit, um Erinnerungen auszutauschen und ihre Geschichten rund um die Huey zu erzählen. Für viele war es eine emotionale Reise zurück in eine Zeit, in der die Bell UH-1D das Bild der deutschen Heeresflieger prägte.
Die Bell UH-1D ist mehr als nur ein Hubschrauber – sie ist eine fliegende Legende. Seit den 1960er Jahren begeistert sie Millionen Menschen auf der ganzen Welt und zählt bis heute zu den bekanntesten Hubschraubern aller Zeiten.
