Ex-Biathletin Laura Dahlmeier tödlich verunglückt

Die ehemalige deutsche Biathletin Laura Dahlmeier ist beim Bergsteigen in Pakistan tödlich verunglückt. Die 31-Jährige war am Laila Peak im pakistanischen Karakorum-Gebirge von einem Steinschlag getroffen worden. Bergsteigen und Klettern waren ihre große Leidenschaft. Die Rettungsaktion zur Bergung sei erfolglos geblieben und deshalb eingestellt worden, teilte das Management mit. Am Vortag war ein Helikopter über den Unglücksort geflogen und hatte kein Lebenszeichen mehr festgestellt.
