JAKARTA, KOMPASTV Pejabat senior Hamas Basem Naim berterima kasih kepada Donald Trump atas intervensinya dalam proses perundingan gencatan senjata.
"Saya yakin tanpa campur tangan pribadi Presiden (Donald) Trump, setelah memberi Netanyahu kesempatan satu per satu untuk memenuhi atau menyelesaikan tugasnya, dan ia gagal pada akhirnya menyelesaikan tugas sesuai kriterianya, kemenangan mutlak itu pun diraih. Tanpa campur tangan pribadi Presiden Trump," kata Pejabat senior Hamas Basem Naim.
Dilansir dari Sky News/AP, Basem Naim juga mengatakan kelompok itu tidak akan melucuti senjata.
"Saya rasa tujuan akhir perang ini tidak akan tercapai. Oleh karena itu, ya, kami berterima kasih kepada Presiden Trump dan upaya pribadinya untuk campur tangan dan menekan Israel agar mengakhiri pembantaian," katanya.
