El ministro de Relaciones Exteriores chino se reúne con altos funcionarios canadienses en Ottawa
El ministro de Relaciones Exteriores de China, Wang Yi, se reunió con el primer ministro de Canadá, Mark Carney, y con su homóloga canadiense, Anita Anand, en Ottawa. Carney indicó que él y el presidente chino, Xi Jinping, acordaron construir una nueva asociación estratégica China-Canadá durante su visita al país asiático en enero. A su vez, Wang señaló que esta nueva asociación estratégica entre los dos países ha proporcionado una orientación clave para el desarrollo de estos lazos. Durante su reunión con la ministra de Relaciones Exteriores canadiense, Wang indicó que la lección más importante que se desprende de los altibajos de las relaciones bilaterales en los últimos años es que Canadá y China deben mantener el respeto mutuo, buscar puntos en común y mantener la autonomía estratégica.
