BTS in München: zwei ausverkaufte Shows, ein riesiger Hype und die harte Realität hinter der K-Pop-Maschinerie. Warum erobert die Band aus Südkorea die Welt? Wir gehen auf Spurensuche – von der Allianz Arena bis nach Seoul.Was war da in München passiert? Vor Jahren war BTS noch Nische, jetzt in weniger als einer Stunde die Allianz Arena zweimal ausverkauft. Über 140.000 Fans kommen nach München, um BTS live zu sehen. Was macht den Hype aus? Wir sind mit unserer Reportage in München unterwegs – um die Geschichte aber richtig zu verstehen, müssen wir dorthin, wo K-Pop gemacht wird: nach Südkorea.
Wir treffen in München die Army-Fans Yvonne und Vanessa, die vor dem Konzert noch einen Random Dance organisieren wollen und schnell Fans und Musik organisieren müssen. Für Betti geht an der Arena ein Traum in Erfüllung: früher für K-Pop belächelt, jetzt unter tausenden auf dem Weg zur Arena. Es sind die einzigen Konzerte von BTS in Deutschland seit Jahren.
Die Reise nach Seoul: Aber was macht K-Pop und allen voran BTS so erfolgreich? Schnell wird uns klar, es ist mehr als Musik und mehr als ein zufälliger Band-Erfolg. Wir fliegen nach Seoul und treffen Hilly aus Schweden, die an einer K-Pop Academy für ihren großen Traum trainiert und um ein neues Visum zittern muss.
