EUROPA: Neues Industriegesetz entfacht Streit! Droht Europa eine Abschottung vom Welthandel?Die Europäische Kommission will mit einem neuen Gesetz die heimische Industrie stärken – stößt damit aber auch auf Kritik aus Deutschland. Mit dem sogenannten Industrial Acceleration Act soll bei staatlichen Aufträgen und Subventionen künftig stärker auf Produkte zurückgegriffen werden, die in der Europäische Union hergestellt werden oder besonders klimafreundlich sind. Betroffen wären unter anderem Branchen wie Stahl, Autos und Lastwagen, Batterien oder erneuerbare Energien. Die deutsche Wirtschaft warnt daher ausdrücklich vor neuen Hürden. Verbände kritisieren die Pläne als zu bürokratisch und protektionistisch. Sie befürchten, dass Europa sich damit stärker vom Welthandel abschottet und wichtige Partner vor den Kopf stößt.
