🔥 Grote natuurbrand op de Edese Heide 😱🚒

Dinsdagmiddag gaat het flink mis op de heide langs de Planken Wambuisweg tussen Otterlo en Ede.

Rond 14.00 uur breekt er brand uit op militair oefenterrein van Defensie… en door de droogte en stevige wind breidt het vuur zich razendsnel uit. 🌬️🔥

⚠️ Op sommige momenten dreigen de vlammen zelfs door te slaan richting het omliggende bosgebied…

Brandweer Lunteren weet het vuur uiteindelijk precies op tijd te stoppen voordat de brand het bos bereikt. 😳🚒🌲

🚨 Binnen enkele minuten schaalt de brandweer op naar een ZEER GROTE BRAND.

Korpsen uit de hele regio worden met spoed opgeroepen om het vuur onder controle te krijgen.

Ook Brandweer Lunteren komt met spoed ter plaatse om te helpen bij de bestrijding van deze enorme heidebrand. 🚒

🔥 Het vuur woedt uiteindelijk over meerdere hectares heide en natuurgebied.

Door de extreme droogte en stevige wind verandert de situatie continu.

⚠️ Volgens verschillende berichten zou de brand mogelijk zijn ontstaan tijdens een militaire oefening op het terrein van Defensie.

De Koninklijke Marechaussee doet onderzoek naar de exacte oorzaak van de brand.

🚒 Tientallen hulpdiensten werken samen om het vuur in te sluiten en verdere uitbreiding te voorkomen.

Naast brandweervoertuigen zijn ook politie, ambulance en specialisten gevaarlijke stoffen aanwezig.

💨 Door de enorme rookontwikkeling is de brand van grote afstand zichtbaar.

De inzet duurt uren voordat de situatie volledig onder controle is.
