Tim LKG BRI Berlaga di Piala Gothia 2025, 18 Pemain Siap Bertolak ke Swedia 11 Juli 2025
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Manajemen Liga Kompas melepas keberangkatan tim LKG BRI Indonesia ke Piala Gothia di Swedia. Tim yang dinakhodai pelatih T.B. Wahyudiansyah merupakan hasil dari seleksi Liga Kompas musim 2024-2025 yang digelar selama 15 pekan.Harian Kompas bekerja sama dengan PT Bank BRI Tbk. menggelar acara The Delegate untuk melepas keberangkatan tim LKG BRI Indonesia ke Piala Gothia di Gothenburg, Swedia, 13-20 Juli 2025. Delapan belas pemain terbaik LKG BRI yang dinakhodai pelatih T.B. Wahyudiansyah ini akan bertolak ke Swedia pada Jumat, 11 Juli 2025.
Delapan belas pemain terpilih merupakan hasil seleksi Liga Kompas musim 2024-2025 yang digelar selama 15 pekan. Tim yang akan berlaga pada kategori Boys U-15 ini juga telah menjalani latih tanding dan pemusatan latihan di Bromelia Resort, Puncak, demi aklimatisasi cuaca dingin. Tim LKG BRI Indonesia diharapkan dapat tampil maksimal demi target menembus juara pada Piala Gothia 2025.
Pada edisi 2013, tim Liga Kompas pernah menyabet gelar runner-up, sementara edisi 2018, tim Liga Kompas hanya mampu meraih peringkat tiga. Di Piala Gothia, tim LKG berada di Grup 29 Boys 15, bersama AFC Eskilstuna, Prep Schools District, dan jersj IF 1.
