Perkara ini diajukan oleh mantan narapidana kasus korupsi terkait pembalakan liar Adelin Lis.
Mahkamah Agung, KPK, dan Polri yang sedianya hadir sebagai Pihak Terkait. Namun hanya perwakilan Polri yang hadir dan menyampaikan keterangannya sebagai Pihak Terakit dalam persidangan tersebut.
Perwakilan Polri tersebut yakni Brigjen Pol Veris Septiansyah mengatakan, Polri berpandangan bahwa permasalahan yang diajukan oleh Pemohon bukanlah menyangkut persoalan inkonstutisional norma melainkan sebuah ekspresi dari ketidakpuasan terhadap penerapan hukum oleh aparat dan putusan hakim dalam perkara konkret.
