Bianchi parte proprio dal titolo dell'agenzia, accusando la cosiddetta stampa responsabile di poter diventare corresponsabile di una terza guerra mondiale, e chiede allo storico quale ruolo abbiano avuto informazione, intellettuali e politici nei conflitti del passato. Per D'Orsi non è la prima volta che l'ANSA si comporta da agenzia di propaganda: il precedente storico è l'Agenzia Stefani, voce ufficiale del regime fascista. Oggi, spiega, i media sono la punta di diamante di ciò che definisce «sistema guerra».
