Dilaporkan bentrok antara ormas FPI dengan PWI-LS itu mengakibatkan 5 orang kena luka sabetan senjata tajam.
Diduga pemicu bentrok karena gesekan yang terjadi saat kelompok penolak ceramah Habib Rizieq mendekati lokasi acara.
Massa PWI-LS sempat terlibat adu argumen dengan FPI, ormas pendukung Habib Rizieq.
Namun suasana semakin memanas saat bentrok antara kedua ormas terjadi.
Massa PWI-LS disebut berusaha membubarkan ceramah Habib Rizieq.
Meski aparat kepolisian telah melakukan pemblokiran, sebagian massa PWI-LS berhasil menyusup mendekati panggung pengajian dan mulai melempari dengan batu.
Adapun pengerahan massa PWI-LS ini diduga atas koordinasi pimpinan daerah.
Ratusan orang dikerahkan melalui surat permohonan dari PWI‑LS Kabupaten Pemalang untuk menolak kehadiran Habib Rizieq.
