Momen itu terjadi saat menghadiri Panen Raya Jagung Serentak Kuartal II di Kalimantan Barat, Kamis (5/6/2025).
Didampingi Menteri Pertanian dan Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Presiden juga secara simbolis melepas ekspor jagung ke Malaysia.
Hal itu sebagai bagian dari langkah nyata memperkuat ketahanan pangan nasional.
Sementara itu, lokasi acara telah dihias meriah dengan tenda berdekorasi biru-putih yang menghadap langsung ke kebun jagung siap panen.
Acara ini merupakan bagian dari prioritas program Prabowo dalam mendorong swasembada pangan dan peningkatan produktivitas pertanian nasional.
Ribuan tamu undangan, termasuk tokoh masyarakat, petani, pejabat daerah, dan warga setempat, tampak antusias mengikuti kegiatan tersebut.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Presiden dijadwalkan menyerahkan alat mesin pertanian kepada kelompok tani.
Tak hanya itu, Prabowo juga melakukan peletakan batu pertama pembangunan serentak 18 gudang Polri di 12 Polda.
Ia juga meresmikan Gudang Dryer Jagung yang akan mendukung rantai pasok pertanian.
Lantas, pemerintah Indonesia menegaskan komitmennya untuk memperkuat sektor pertanian sebagai pilar kedaulatan pangan nasional.
