Novel mengungkap kekecewaannya dalam unggahan di akun media sosial Instagram miliknya pada Jumat (1/8/2025).
Dirinya menyebut bahwa korupsi pada dasarnya adalah kejahatan serius dan pengkhianatan terhadap kepentingan negara.
"Ketika penyelesaian kasus tindak pidana korupsi dilakukan secara politis maka ini akan menjadi preseden buruk bagi pemberantasan korupsi ke depan. Apalagi hal ini dilakukan di tengah praktek korupsi makin para, dan lembaga pemberantasan korupsi seperti KPK sedang dilumpuhkan," ujar Novel dalam unggahannya. (TribunVideo.com)
