I’m going to share a natural remedy you may find helpful if you’re dealing with numbness, tingling, or a burning sensation in your feet.

Your tingling feet aren’t actually a nerve problem. If you have high blood sugar, there’s an increased demand for vitamin B1 because vitamin B1 is needed for sugar metabolism in the body.

High blood sugar means the tiny blood vessels around the nervous system aren’t getting enough energy. A vitamin B1 deficiency can mean low energy and lactic acid buildup.
Benfotiamine, a fat-soluble form of vitamin B1, can help with tingling and numbness in the feet. Take the recommended dose 3 to 4 times per day.

Changing your diet is key to addressing the root cause of peripheral neuropathy. A low-carb diet can provide the body with ketones as an alternative fuel, helping properly fuel the neurons despite insulin resistance.

Peripheral neuropathy can also be linked to high vitamin B6 levels or low magnesium levels.
