The picture plane is like a window that helps solve perspective problems in drawing. It shows why closer objects appear larger and helps us understand how vanishing points work.By viewing from the top or side, you can see how lines recede or remain parallel. When objects spin or rotate, the picture plane helps identify where the vanishing points should be placed. Using plan and projection methods, you can accurately draw objects in three-quarter view from orthographic projections, placing vanishing points and heights precisely.
