Dalam pidatonya, Prabowo sempat menyinggung potensi Ketua Umum Demokrat, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) untuk menjadi presiden di masa depan.
Tepat sekali, saat itu AHY duduk bersebelahan dengan Gibran.
Prabowo menyebut, saat itu keduanya bersebelahan, tapi mungkin saja di masa depan menjadi saingan (memperebutkan kursi presiden RI).
"Sekarang duduk berdampingan, nanti bisa bersaing ini dua orang ini. Enggak apa-apa. Bersaing itu baik. Siapa nomor 1, ajaklah nomor 2, ajaklah nomor 3. Iya kan?" kata Prabowo.
Sontak hal itu disambut tepuk tangan dan tawa para peserta kongres, termasuk AHY dan Gibran.
