Tak Lagi Jadi Presiden, Jokowi Justru Ditunjuk Jadi Dewan Penasihat Global Bloomberg New Economy

Penunjukan ini diumumkan melalui laman resminya pada Senin (22/9).
Perlu diketahui Bloomberg New Economy merupakan platform global untuk dialog dan pertukaran wacana terkait transformasi ekonomi bagi pasar yang sedang berkembang.
Bloomberg menjelaskan bahwa Dewan Penasihat Global dibentuk pada April 2025 yang bertujuan mengatasi tantangan komplek yang dihadapi dunia.
Meski begitu hingga saat ini belum diketahui secara pasti alasan penunjukan Jokowi.
Namun Bloomberg menyatakan kelompok penasihat ini beranggotakan figur-figur berpengalaman tertinggi di bisnis, pemerintahan, organisasi multilateral.
Sehingga Jokowi masuk dalam daftar 22 anggota Dewan Penasihat Global Bloomberg New Economy.
Selain Jokowi, ada Wakil Direktur Pelaksana Pertama IMF Gita Gopinath hingga Wakil Perdana Menteri Singapura Gan Kim Yong.
Sementara Jokowi menjadi satu-satunya mantan kepala negara dalam daftar penasihat global ini.
Dalam profil resminya, Jokowi dideskripsikan Bloomberg sebagai politisi, insiyur, dan pengusaha, yang juga pernah menjabat sebagai presiden.
Perlu diketahui, Bloomberg New Economy sendiri berdiri sejak 2018.
Pihaknya membawa misi menjembatani pergeseran besar kekuatan ekonomi global dari Barat ke Timur dan Utara ke Selatan.
Organisasi ini rutin menggelar forum di berbagai kota dunia seperti Singapura, Beijing, Marrakesh, hingga São Paulo
Bloomberg New Economy sendiri akan mengumpulkan para pemimpin dari seluruh pemerintahan dan perusahaan swasta dunia
Dengan begitu diharapkan dapat menghadapi tantangan terbesar terhadap kesejahteraan global serta berkolaborasi mencari solusi.
